Motor vehicles. The Court of Justice rules on the manufacturers’ obligations towards independent operators
Automotive manufacturers are not obliged to provide independent operators with access to vehicle repair and maintenance information in a form that is amenable to onward electronic processing, and a further channel for information on the sale of original replacement parts is not a discriminatory access for independent operators.

The Commission reintroduces rules on car emissions testing in real driving conditions
Following a ruling by the General Court, the Commission has decided to propose to the European Parliament and to the Council to re-instate the previously adopted conformity factors, used to assess compliance of the vehicle with the emission limits while performing a Real Driving Emissions (RDE) test.
