Long delays of flights. The right of compensation applies also to connecting flights to third States
The Court of Justice of the European Union ruled on the right to compensation for long delays of a flight comprising, between its departure from an airport situated in the territory of a Member State and its arrival at an airport situated in the territory of a third State, a scheduled stopover outside the European Union, with a change of aircraft.
Boeing-Airbus. The WTO Appelate Body has handed down its final decision on alleged EU State aid to Airbus
Both Airbus and the European Union, on the one side, and Boeing and the United States, on the other side, claim victory after the WTO’s Appellate Body final decision has rejected the majority of the claims issued by United States and, at the same time, has recognised the illegal nature of some EU subsidies received by Airbus.
